Purpose
The Lead, FP&A will play a key role on the Company’s Finance team. This position will be responsible for:
• Partnering with USA functional leaders in coordination with Sr. Financial Analysts
• Leading the Company’s budget process and monthly management reporting
• HRBP for all headcount planning and labor cost analysis
• Financial systems management
The position will work with:
• Corporate & Local finance teams, Business Unit heads, and functional leaders
• International and domestic departments and managers throughout the organization
Main Responsibilities
Business Partner to local departments:
- Liaise between Finance and USA functional leaders; Partner with cost center owners and functional leaders through monthly/quarterly meetings
- Support HR with Headcount planning, Labor Cost calculations & analysis, and Year-End Labor Calculations (Supporting all Americas as HRBP: Canada, USA, GRD),
- Lead FP&A monthly close process, including ensuring all Local & Global deadlines are met and acting as liaison between Accounting & FP&A related to month end.
- Review monthly Executive Summary, opex analysis, and other reporting
-Listen to cost center owners and understand the projects being completed by departments; ask follow up questions to ensure consistency with Global Finance guidelines and across USA cost centers
Budgeting/Forecasting:
-Assist Director with managing planning timelines for USA
-Lead opex planning process, ensuring timely submission and review of required departmental budgets
- Assist department managers with budgeting process and expense planning
- Prepare USA Market Company budget presentations and other general budget documentation
- Assist Director with preparing full USA financial statements
Systems Management:
- Act as Lead regarding system maintenance and master data updates (Tagetik, SAP BW, BPC, Planisware, PowerBI)
- Understand and troubleshoot FP&A systems (SAP/BPC, Tagetik, & Planisware) that are used to submit budgets and monthly variance analysis to Corporate
- Lead process improvement/innovation and other projects related to evaluating, implementing and administrating FP&A systems
