What we are looking for:  

The US Commercialization Learning team is currently seeking a talented training professional who possesses the skills needed to ensure both the immediate and long-term success of our training organization.  The selected candidate will be accountable for supporting product and disease training for the US Neuroscience Business Unit, with primary responsibility for the Neurology field teams. These activities include the design, development, and execution of training assets for new hire training, brand updates, selling skills, new product launches, competitive product launches, POA meetings, and Field Readiness Meetings.

Who you will work with:

This Sr Learning Manager position is a headquarters-based position and reports to the Director, US Neuroscience Commercialization Learning.  In this role, the Sr Learning Manager will work collaboratively across a fast-paced and complex matrix organization, which includes the Neuroscience Commercialization Teams, WW Centre of Excellence, and Enterprise Learning Services.  Specifically, the Sr Learning Manager will work in close partnership with colleagues from several functions (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Medical, Legal, Compliance, etc.) to strategically address business needs and ensure that we deliver on our objective of demonstrating value to both customers and patients. 

In addition to the above-mentioned initiatives, the role will be responsible for evaluating ongoing Commercialization Learning needs and recommending appropriate strategies, tactics and budget planning processes for assigned products.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with training colleagues, Sales, Operations, Marketing leadership, and preceptors consistently implementing results-focused, performance-based, standardized training and development processes.

  • Strategic planning and development of a comprehensive sales training curriculum for use during training classes, with a strategic focus on POAs and other national/regional/district meetings.

  • Ensure training resources (e.g. materials, workshops, infographics/job aids, etc.) meet all regulatory, legal and compliance requirements for assigned individual projects and initiatives.

  • Work with and/or manage external vendors and internal personnel to ensure the successful design and execution of assigned training programs and projects.

  • Assess and analyze the effectiveness of assigned training programs and initiatives utilizing Kirkpatrick Model

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of Pharmaceutical Sales Representative experience required

  • 1 year of Sales training experience is required, 2 years Sales Training in Neuroscience areas preferred

  • Demonstrated curriculum design and understanding of adult learning principles including previous experience leading workshops

  • Effective communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

  • Proven performance with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement key learning objectives, strategies, and tactics

  • Problem solving and solutions-oriented team player

  • Strong business analytics to understand and analyze business and market drivers, develop, execute and adjust business plans

  • Experience operating within a highly complex cross-matrix environment; ability to connect and collaborate with key matrix team
