Role and Responsibilities

How you make a difference

As a SCM Demand Planner, your primary responsibility is to maintain accurate sales forecasts, align supply and demand, and ensure sufficient stock availability to meet sales demands. You will play a vital role in driving sales for the assigned product portfolio while adhering to company policies and optimizing supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the stream of our Mobile products (which consists of Smartphones, Tablets, Notebook, Watches and Accessories)
• Maintain communication with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Manage customer inventory and sell-out data, proactively analyzing it to prevent issues and spot opportunities
• Control SCM KPIs to meet targets and present updates during weekly Supply Chain meetings (Stock fulfillment rate, Sellout forecast accuracy, Sellout achievement, Aging inventory rate)
• Play a vital role in the supply chain process by analyzing data that influences purchases at the factory.
• Check sell-out results vs. forecast regularly, updating forecasts based on current stock, sales trends, promotions, and other factors.
• Reporting on SCM performance to internal stakeholders
   

Your team

In this role, you’ll join a motivated and professional team dedicated to driving results. Our team includes 3 Category Managers and 2 skilled SCM Demand Planners, including yourself. Together, we focus on optimizing and managing our product portfolio to achieve strategic goals.
 

You’ll also work closely with a parallel team overseeing a different product group. Regular collaboration ensures the exchange of insights, joint problem-solving, and smooth vacation coverage, fostering alignment and shared success across teams.

We also request:

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimal 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role with proven track record in demand forecasting and knowledge of sales and logistic processes.
• A good command of the Dutch and English language at a professional level
• Skilled in using MS Office (Excel) and you are familiar with SAP. Knowledge of PowerB1 & Power Query is a plus.
