New Graduates 

New registered nurse (RN) graduates’ benefit from a comprehensive, personalized support system. All RNs in their first nursing role are invited to participate in a Nurse Residency Program alongside nursing orientation. The program provides socialization and support, enhances clinical judgment, and promotes professional development. 

The most rewarding nursing job you can have! The Rehab nurse is responsible for all normal nursing duties: assessment, admissions, discharges, education, administering medications via multiple routes, patient safety, interdisciplinary collaboration, blood draws, placing peripheral IVs, maintaining central and peripheral lines, foley catheters, bowel programs, etc.  The most rewarding piece is watching the patients gain higher function and ability to care for themselves.  We work as a team of RNs, LPNs, Techs, secretaries, Case managers, therapists, physicians, etc.  Our goal is to deliver exceptional care to every patient and care for each other.

Qualifications 

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• requirement of becoming OCN certified within 2yrs of hire
