Raytheon (RTX) has an immediate opening for a temporary Production Test Engineering Subject Matter Expert with technical expertise on the Tomahawk product and factory testing. This role will provide mentoring and technical guidance to Production Test Engineer on the Tomahawk builds at the factory. This position will be taking directions from the Production Test Engineer Section Manager.
What You Will Do:
Primarily supporting troubleshooting efforts on hardware that is Out of Flow with a focus on the functional and environmental tests and assist the Production Test Engineers with dispositions and path forward on Out of Flow hardware
Provide theory of operations on the Tomahawk assemblies built and tested at the factory
Assist Production Test Engineers with the Release to Production (prove-in) process
The individual in this role will not be accountable for the delivery commitments and is purely asked to be a mentor to the Production Test Engineers
Qualifications You Must Have:
Experience with Tomahawk test and assembly
Experience in the Production Test Engineering command media
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Experience with troubleshooting functional and environmental tests and knowledge of test equipment architecture and functionality
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience compiling and producing training material for the Production Test Engineers to reference
Experience in Root Cause and Corrective Action activities
This is a temporary position of an undetermined length but expected to conclude within 1 year.

The hourly rate for this role is $51.68 to $98.31. The compensation range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
