Position Overview
The Business Operation Manager for the MX Paid Services team will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliation for the Samsung Care+ device protection and extended warranty programs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and Director of Care+ program, as well as with external insurance company partners.

Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

   - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the MX Care+ program.

   - Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

   - Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

2. Invoice Reconciliation:

   - Collaborate with external insurance company partners to reconcile invoices.

   - Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.

   - Maintain detailed records of all reconciliations and support audit processes.

   - Collaborate with the PI team to improve financial processes, such as invoice reconciliation automation.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:

   - Assist in the development of annual targets and financial forecasts for the MX Care+ program.

   - Monitor budget performance and update forecasts as necessary.

   - Provide variance analysis and explain significant deviations from the plan.

4. Financial Controls and Compliance:

   - Implement and maintain robust financial controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

   - Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

   - Work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and team members to align financial strategies with business objectives.

   - Communicate effectively with external insurance company partners to ensure smooth financial operations.

   - Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and HQ Care+ team for various tasks, including finance/operation-related topics.

6. Care+ SKU Creation and Management:

   - Oversee the creation and management of SKUs for the Care+ and Extended Warranty program.

   - Ensure accurate and timely updates to the SKU database.

7. Process Documentation and Maintenance:

   - Own the process documentation and continuously update it in the Confluence page.

   - Ensure all process changes are accurately documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

- CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification is preferred.

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
