<p>With Volvo Cars Manufacturing Engineering, you are part of a global production team that makes sure that the cars we build meet the highest expectations from our customers. You will support new model Launch & Program Management. We are seeking for a Equipment Engineer for Transport system in Paint Shop, located in Kosice, Slovak Republic</p>

<p>What you’ll do:</p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare, develop, and implement production systems and equipment in the Paint production process where there is a need of a transport solution. Included in the transport solution is the conveyor system, and connected equipment or structure such as lifting aids, body carriers, work platforms or steel structure.</li>
<li>As the local Equipment Engineer with this competence, support VCK plant with implementation of product and process solutions driven by car programs and other requested changes.</li>
<li>Be the local owner of the Body handling requirements and Product and Process Body window specification as they are vital manufacturing pre-requisites for new or modified transport solution.</li>
<li>As part of Global Manufacturing Engineering Paint, develop strategies and processes as well as support non-local projects within competence area.</li>
</ul>

<p>What we require:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience of Manufacturing Engineering processes and Facility, Tooling and Equipment process, preferable experience with transport and conveyor systems</li>
<li>ME or IE Bachelors Preferred or commiserate experience</li>
<li>Ability to interact cross-functionally and to act in a multi-cultural environment</li>
<li>Work in a team oriented environment</li>
<li>Target oriented and strong analytical skills</li>
<li>Well organized working methods and ability to report in a structured and concise format</li>
<li>Ability to organize and prioritize own work and to manage multiple tasks</li>
<li>Willingness to travel domestically or internationally</li>
<li>Advanced English and Slovak language</li>
