Role Summary
As an Associate Sales Consultant for Workplace, you will play an integral role in the success of our organization. You will be responsible for servicing and deepening participant relationships by providing foundational retirement strategy and insights, general portfolio needs, and resolving complex situations. As part of our sales team, you will identify and qualify high-value participants to a Financial Consultant who will deliver enhanced personalized consultations or offer products/services based on their needs.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for inbound participant service requests. Respond to requests for investment, mutual fund, and account information. Resolve complex account issues.
- Identify and qualify participants to be referred to a High-Value Financial Consultant to advance the relationship.
- Demonstrate a consultative approach to gain a thorough understanding of the participant's needs and offer appropriate solutions.
- Retain assets through education and guidance of available plan-specific and general distribution options.
- Deliver on defined sales targets and other role-based responsibilities.
- Understand the overall Financial Services industry and related legal, tax, and regulatory issues to guide clients.
- Develop and maintain proficient knowledge of T. Rowe Price products and services.
- Follow up with clients from inbound retention opportunities.
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 0+ years of total relevant work experience
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 (must be obtained within first 6 months)
Preferred
- Sales experience
- Financial industry experience
- Fully licensed candidate (currently holds 7 and 66)
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role. Dedicated paid time and resources are provided to support through the licensing process.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home after the successful completion of a training program.
