Role Description

As a Field Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our commercial team's success by developing and executing on marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth. Primarily, you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the success of live events like conferences and digital events like webinars and all that that entails, which includes secondary responsibilities like managing our social media campaigns, creating branded assets, and cultivating partnerships, among others. You will collaborate closely with our sales, engineering, and leadership teams to achieve our business objectives. This role is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our mission while enjoying a dynamic and remote-first work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive field and digital event marketing strategies aligned with the overall sales strategy to drive demand generation, pipeline growth, and revenue attainment.
  • Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute physical and digital events such as trade shows, conferences, webinars, and workshops to engage target audiences and promote our products and services.
  • Lead Generation: Create and manage marketing campaigns and initiatives that generate high-quality leads for our sales team. This includes both online and offline tactics.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify tech trends, opportunities, and challenges in the biotech industry, and provide insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Content Creation: Support the marketing team with the development of compelling content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and presentations, to support lead generation efforts.
  • Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales team to provide them with the necessary tools, materials, and training to effectively communicate our value proposition and close deals.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and leadership, to ensure alignment and achieve business goals.

Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance and ROI, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimization.

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a field marketing role.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies in biotech, ideally at a software or tech solutions provider.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed marketing decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-first work environment.
  • Desire to improve software to accelerate medicine
  • Availability to travel up to 33% of the time
  • Preference will be given to candidates located in the greater Boston area
