Job Summary:

Grand Villa of Lakeland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our assisted living community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our residents by maintaining the physical condition of the community.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage the maintenance staff to ensure the community is well-maintained and in good repair

- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure the longevity of the community's equipment and facilities

- Conduct regular inspections of the community to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations

- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance services

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses

- Respond promptly to resident requests for maintenance services and ensure their satisfaction

- Ensure that all maintenance equipment and supplies are properly stored and secured

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment for the maintenance staff

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or related field

- Experience in a supervisory role preferred

- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects

- Must be available to work weekends and evenings as needed
