Purpose
Divergent is seeking a motivated and results-driven Production Recruiter to support high-volume hiring across manufacturing, production, warehouse, quality, logistics, maintenance, and technician organizations. This role owns full-cycle recruitment for non-exempt positions and partners closely with hiring managers to build strong candidate pipelines that support rapidly changing production demands.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys building relationships with candidates and hiring leaders, and can effectively balance high-volume execution with proactive recruiting strategies. Depending on experience and demonstrated capability, this position may be hired at the S03 or S04 level.
The Role
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Own full-cycle recruitment for hourly manufacturing, technician, warehouse, logistics, maintenance, quality, facilities, and production positions.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing priorities, workforce needs, and production schedules.
- Conduct recruiter screens to assess technical qualifications, work history, schedule flexibility, attendance, and overall fit.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
- Prepare offers and partner with HR and hiring managers through pre-employment and onboarding activities.
- Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse).
Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines for recurring production hiring needs.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, military recruiting, trade schools, community organizations, career fairs, and recruiting events.
- Build relationships with passive candidates to support future hiring demand.
- Continuously identify new sourcing channels to improve candidate quality and hiring velocity.
Hiring Manager Partnership
- Serve as a trusted recruiting partner by providing market insights, hiring recommendations, and recruiting updates.
- Assist hiring managers in defining candidate profiles, interview plans, and hiring strategies.
- Communicate recruiting progress, pipeline health, and hiring challenges to stakeholders.
- Help drive efficient hiring decisions while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
Candidate Experience
- Deliver a professional, responsive, and high-touch candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance.
- Ensure timely communication throughout every stage of the hiring process.
- Represent Divergent professionally at recruiting events and within the manufacturing community.
Recruiting Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Track recruiting metrics including pipeline activity, time-to-fill, interview conversion, and offer acceptance.
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with company policies and employment regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, interview practices, and candidate experience.
- Participate in recruiting projects, hiring events, and employer branding initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting hourly or non-exempt employees in manufacturing, production, warehouse, logistics, skilled trades, or industrial environments.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System.
