WHAT YOU WILL DO:
You will be a strategic driver of our clients’ products, services, and experiences to ensure ultimate success for some of the best brands on earth. In this role you will partner with talented colleagues and agency leadership to influence the future direction and reputation of the agency through the work you do every day.
The Senior Strategist is an essential member of the BASIC® team. You will collaborate with other senior strategy leaders and colleagues from other disciplines to produce outcomes that represent a significant step change for our client's businesses and brands. While we are seeking candidates with broad experience across different types of work, the focus of this role will be on product & experience strategy and digital transformation.
- Capable of contributing to large-scale digital product and CX strategies that create genuinely differentiated products, services, and systems.
- Skilled at applying critical analysis to various sources of data and analytics in order to distill meaningful insights for our teams and clients.
- Experienced with developing roadmaps for digital ecosystems
- Someone who values curiosity, creativity, and the relevant application of those traits to make original work. We want you to help make things that are new and interesting, not just sensible.
- Able to distill complicated things into simple ideas, and transform simple ideas into inspiring creative and design opportunities.
- Contribute to large-scale product, service, brand, and business transformation strategies.
- Lead mid-scale strategy projects focused on experience design and D2C channels.
- Audit existing brand channels and products to identify gaps and areas for optimization.
- Provide informed opinions on how to achieve specific outcomes by using both empirical research and your subjective expertise.
- Build presentations and lead share-outs, check-ins, and presentations to colleagues and day-to-day clients.
- Design, implement, and analyze primary research across a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
- Conduct user testing to help identify insights and opportunities for experience optimization.
- Mine primary and secondary data sources for insights.
- Work across all departments of BASIC, the client, and other stakeholders to achieve the desired results and meet the objectives of the company.
- Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Knowledge, communicative, and analytical skills equivalent to those normally obtained through receipt of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent years of additional related professional experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in strategy, CX, product design, and analytics and have led large strategic projects on numerous occasions.
- Working knowledge of UX best practices and experience bringing digital strategies to life
This is a contract role with the possibility of a permanent conversion.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $110/hr. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
