As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications

• high school diploma or its equivalent
• minimum of 5 years industrial and commercial construction experience
• knowledge of Industrial Construction including Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Refrigeration, Electrical, and Roofing Systems
• knowledge of MS Office Suite
• knowledge of regional building codes and other regulatory agency requirements
• knowledge of warehousing, distribution and manufacturing
• ability to be detailed oriented
• ability to evaluate costs and estimates

• ability to be comfortable in addressing large groups

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 10 years’ industrial and commercial construction experience
• 10 years’ experience in Industrial construction as a project manager, superintendent or development manager.
• Continuing Education (CILB) Construction Industry Licensing Board
• General Contractors or Building Contractors License
• certificates required for ADA (American Disability Act), Hazwoper (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response). These are required and supplied by Publix. (Incumbent will obtain the ADA and Hazwoper once hired)
