Position Summary:

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to be an integral part of our dynamic Industry Sales team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Industry Sales leaders and the broader team to support the strategic goals of your assigned accounts. Your mission will be to drive growth, promote our product portfolio, foster account penetration, and build strong stakeholder relationships to increase annual recurring revenue (ARR).

Life as an Inside Sales Representative at Bentley

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

    • Conduct thorough research to identify potential leads and target accounts.
    • Utilize various tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, industry databases) to gather contact information and insights about prospects.
    • Develop and execute personalized outreach strategies to engage potential customers.

Outbound Activities:

    • Perform high-volume sales calls to engage with prospects and introduce them to our products/services.
    • Craft and send tailored email campaigns to nurture leads and generate interest.
    • Leverage social media platforms to connect with and engage potential customers.

Inbound Lead Qualification:

    • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and leads generated from marketing campaigns.
    • Conduct initial qualification calls to assess the prospect's needs, budget, and decision-making process.
    • Determine the prospect's fit for our products/services and prioritize leads accordingly.

Appointment Setting:

    • Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects.
    • Coordinate with Industry Sales Engineers to ensure smooth handoff and follow-up on scheduled appointments.

CRM Management:

    • Accurately record all sales activities, interactions, and follow-up tasks in the CRM system.
    • Maintain up-to-date and organized records of prospect information and communication history.

Performance Metrics:

    • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, qualified leads, and appointments set.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, email response rates, and conversion rates.

Qualifications:  

  • You will have fluency in English.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in account development or a sales function, or applicants with an engineering background without sales experience, too.
  • Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Salesloft) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
