Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The Manager, Data Contracting Support is responsible for leading operational support and lifecycle management activities that enable effective and compliant data contracting by the business with vendors, customers, research organizations and strategic partners. This role plays a key part in ensuring consistent data contract terms to support the compliant use of data related to company medical devices, services, software, employees and customers and to advance patient care through the proper collection, maintenance and use of data. The position partners closely with Legal, IT, ISRM, R&D, HEMA and Commercial teams to implement standardized contract terms for the treatment of protected data.
Key Responsibilities
Lead data contracting support activities, ensuring consistent use of templates and standard terms across the company.
Working with the Chief Privacy Officer and Director, Privacy Policies, adjust contract templates and standard data terms to address changes to privacy and data protection laws.
