The Role:

As the AVP of Enterprise Software Services, you'll be at the helm of our strategic vision, ensuring the seamless integration of cutting-edge capabilities across our organization. Based in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will be instrumental in driving foundational capabilities that will elevate our entire enterprise service-based delivery model. You will leverage your expertise in enterprise solution design, cross-functional team collaboration, and strategic resource management to navigate competing priorities and deliver exceptional results.

 

What You'll Do:

• Become the Business Whisperer: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and strategic initiatives, enabling technology to enhance capabilities in alignment with PHP's objectives. Cultivate strong relationships with technology partners to maximize investments and shape strategic and technical roadmaps.
• Healthcare Industry Pioneer: Stay abreast of industry developments and trends, exploring opportunities to leverage new technologies and facilitate their adoption within the organization through education and proof of concept activities.
• Architect of the Future: Design and maintain an enterprise/software services roadmap, charting a course from current state to a visionary future state. Connect business strategies to this roadmap, offering high-level milestones for transition.
• Collaboration and Excellence: Partner with Agile and project teams to integrate Enterprise Software Services, ensuring adherence to best practices and strategic objectives. Drive consistent, scalable solutions with an emphasis on maintainability, security, and reliability.
• Community Builder: Foster collaboration among technical leads and architects across PHP and Providence, ensuring a unified approach to architecture and solution development.
• Technical Translator: Communicate complex technical information with clarity to business leadership, advocating for enterprise software platform enhancements and innovative ideas.
• Leadership Mentor: Develop and nurture new and existing leaders, cultivating a team that thrives in meeting IS organization needs.
• Strategic Service Manager: Plan, oversee, and direct project activities, ensuring teams achieve milestones, deliverables, and functionality commitments. Serve as the senior role in strategizing and executing implementation plans with key customers.
• Risk and Relationship Strategist: Engage proactively in risk identification and mitigation, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals. Foster excellent working relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.

 

What You'll Bring:

 

• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience; a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering disciplines is preferred.
• Experience: Over a decade of experience in application development and support, with proven success in managing technical teams.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge in enterprise services technologies and frameworks, with hands-on experience in development, testing, and monitoring. Cloud development experience. and experience leading enterprise architecture strategy initiatives.  
• Strategic Communication: Demonstrated ability to engage with business leadership, including C-level executives, translating strategic needs into business solutions.
• Leadership Skills: Passionate leadership with a people-first mentality, adept at balancing team development and technical charter execution.
• Communication Abilities: Exceptional communication skills with a customer service orientation, and strong leadership, planning, and management abilities.
