Job Summary:

The Campus Duty Manager is the go-to person on each shift for facilities and grounds, security, and overall guest experience at the Hall of Fame Village, a subsidiary of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW).

This is a part time position, working approximately 25 hours per week, with the ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends & holidays as necessary) required.


Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

- Provide superior guest service to visitors, guests, clients, vendors, and staff.

- Handling customer and employee incidents and concerns on each shift.

- Ensure that HOFV campus has a desirable overall appearance. Manage/coordinate any concerns with the appropriate personnel to make improvements to ensure “good show” and respond to safety concerns.

- Facilitate an opening and closing campus walk-through via checklist on each shift.

- Communicate any incidents to dispatch team.

- Quickly respond to any incidents on campus.

- Oversee campus operations, ensuring maintenance, cleanliness, and efficiency and reporting necessary concerns to the appropriate department.

- Ensure that security and safety regulations are met.

- Monitor efficiency of all processes.

- Ensure employee productivity.

- Work with management to assess and improve campus processes and policies.

- Uphold and enforce company policies.

- Assist with training and tours for new hires, as needed.

- Address guest complaints in a well thought-out and appropriate manner to ensure the highest level of guest experience, and coordinate with the Guest Experience Director, as needed.

- Regularly communicate with employees to determine satisfaction.

- Schedule staffing, as needed.

- Communicate with maintenance, finance, security, human resources, and operations as needs arise.

- Attend meetings as requested to improve campus processes.

- Create a positive guest experience and work environment for employees.

- All other duties as assigned.


PART TIME / HOURLY / NON-EXEMPT POSITION 

Requirements

  

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Desired Qualifications:

- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred.

- Minimum of 1-2 years experience, preferably in a related field.

- Previous management experience highly desired.

- Hospitality industry experience highly desired.

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends & holidays as necessary) is required.

- Must be a flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and entire organization.

- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of performance, working quickly without compromising quality.

- Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters while maintaining confidentiality.


Physical Requirements for Position: 

- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

- The ability to work in various Ohio weather conditions, inside and outside.

- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain, steps, or in construction zones.

- The ability to see and respond to hazardous situations.

- The ability to sit, stand, squat, and walk for periods of time as required for the position.

- Must be able to hear, see, and speak.

- Ability to comprehend instructions and retain information.

- Must have manual dexterity necessary to complete all job duties.

- Must be available to work in Canton, Ohio.
