Overview
The Department of Labor is seeking a Legal Office Assistant.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Support Unemployment Insurance Hearing Examiners
- Manage case files
- Schedule hearing
- Liaise with parties involved
- Prepare documentation
- Assist in organizing and maintaining records for efficient appeals processes
Who May Apply
This position, Legal Office Assistant - Limited Service (Job Requisition #49093), is open to all State employees and external applicants. It is a Limited Service position, which is non-tenured and authorized for a specific period of time. Limited Service positions are established for specially funded projects or programs.

Environmental Factors
Duties are typically performed in an office setting with normal working conditions, some of which may be within an institutional environment. Depending upon duties assigned, some travel may be necessary, for which private transportation may be needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree in business technology, secretarial science or office management
OR
High school graduation or equivalent and three (3) years of office clerical experience
