About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Order Management Manager II to lead our growing Order Management function. This individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the global order process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders and driving efficiency and consistency at scale. Additionally, this individual will drive key automation initiatives to improve order and data accuracy. This role will lead a team of specialists in multiple regions, including the US, Mexico, and the UK.
The Order Management department is part of Samsara’s Finance organization. We are a highly collaborative, global team from a diverse range of backgrounds, focused on making Samsara a great place to work and develop our careers. As a leader, you will be at the center of guiding the company’s transformation as it standardizes the order process. You will work with Sales, Sales Ops, Deal Desk, Business Technology, and Order-to-Cash to deliver a seamless order experience for our customers. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, possesses strong interpersonal and leadership skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys collaborating with other teams to solve operational challenges.

In this role, you will:
- Oversee the global order management process, ensuring the on-time accurate close of all orders in alignment with company policies
- Collaborate with Business Technology and other relevant departments to implement and refine automated solutions for order processing
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and Order to Cash teams to resolve any order discrepancies and issues
- Act as the primary liaison for all things related to order management, providing updates to leadership, soliciting feedback from key stakeholders, and responding to deal information requests from internal and external auditors
- Drive the creation and ongoing maintenance of key internal policy documents regarding booking and order documentation requirements
- Lead enablement for Sales on the requirements for order booking to comply with legal, compliance, corpor
