Responsibilities
Noblis is seeking an inquisitive and technically curious Business Analyst/Architect to join our team in Reston, Virginia.
The candidate hired for this position is comfortable working in an unstructured environment that includes virtual and in-person workspaces and proactively seeks to engage with technical capability developers, account leads, and business and capture managers. The candidate must have a thirst to learn new information gained through extensive research of open-source and company-proprietary materials, and through interactive people-oriented interviews and collaboration.
The candidate is organized and efficient at documenting essential data points via existing or innovative new templates and is highly effective at writing a range of documents – from single page “slick sheets” and briefing presentations to responses to market surveys and 50-page proposals that articulate the value that Noblis brings to our client’s mission. The candidate does not have to have a strong technical background, but they should be excited to learn new technology concepts and recognize technological trends and thrive on helping to evangelize Noblis’ unique innovations to diverse audiences. Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities through monitoring of government procurement websites (e.g., SAM.gov).
- Identify, shape and support development of Noblis efforts that align to government opportunities.
- Maintain or build industry relationships and form teaming arrangements to enhance probability of win.
- Work closely with and support Solution Architects as well as Business Development and Capture teams to develop technical solutions in responses to RFIs/RFPs.
- Develop proposals in response to RFIs/RFPs.
This is a part-time, hybrid job opportunity.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen, and have the ability to be cleared up to the Top Secret level.
- A BA/BS degree in relevant field with 3 years of related experience OR Master's degree in relevant field with 1+ years of related experience.
- Experience in identifying and qualifying business development programs.
- Familiarity with online tools used by the Federal Government for solicitations.
- Excellent communications skills including the ability to communicate with senior executive leadership (internally or client) - demonstrated through written and oral presentations, development of technical papers, volumes, or similar products.
- Ability to gain internal support, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, and establish a solid working relationships with technical staff, managers, and peers across Noblis.
- Self-starter and ability to manage time independently without direct supervision.
- Ability to think strategically and function tactically.
- Possess analytical presentation and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to craft and communicate (written or verbal) compelling write-ups or presentations that articulate the value of approaches, capabilities, and expertise.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to navigate digital platforms and expertise in Microsoft and Adobe products.
- Ability to work against deadlines with speed and accuracy.
