About the role
We are seeking a versatile and driven Systems Test & Software Development Engineer to support the testing, integration, and continuous delivery of advanced AI/ML-enabled RF systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the robustness, performance, and mission readiness of integrated prototypes through hands-on software development, test execution, and automation support.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software tools using Python and C++ to enable automated testing, validation, and system integration.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the delivery of machine learning software artifacts and embedded system builds.
- Conduct unit testing, system-level verification, and performance evaluations of AI/ML models within RF applications.
- Participate in test planning, execution, and post-test analysis across simulated and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
- Support technical documentation, including bug tracking, configuration change requests, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate closely with RF engineers, data scientists, and integration teams to understand system requirements and test strategies.
- Proactively build subject matter expertise in wireless communications, embedded systems, and AI/ML workflows.
- Work on-site at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) to support hands-on system integration and live testing activities.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of software development experience, with an emphasis on test automation, systems integration, or validation engineering.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and workflows, including Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
- Experience or strong interest in wireless communications, embedded systems, or related technical domains.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
