Summary
OneStream is seeking a Data Specialist dedicated to contributing to the efficiency, accuracy, and productivity of the Data Team by supporting key aspects of data quality and governance processes. This role entails applying strong attention to detail and independent judgment to manage high-volume data workflows and support cross-functional initiatives across the Revenue Operations organization.
The ideal candidate will be solution-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working across various systems and data sources. Additionally, they should bring a strong understanding of data governance principles and a continuous improvement mindset to enhance the integrity and usability of business data.
This position reports to the Data Team Manager and collaborates closely with Marketing Operations to act as a bridge between the Data team and marketing-related processes. The Data Specialist provides essential support focused on data accuracy, integrity, quality assurance, data management, and consistent governance practices.
The ideal candidate location is based in Central and East timezones.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Own and manage data governance and quality assurance to ensure business-critical data is complete, accurate, and consistent across systems including HubSpot, Salesforce, and database prospecting platforms.
- Field marketing support tickets, including managing list uploads, resolving data discrepancies, and ensuring timely, accurate responses to requests from the Marketing team to maintain campaign data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Team contribution to managing the stability of the internal day-to-day Sales Support ticket queue (Data Team) during high influx times.
- Exercise independent judgment in identifying, prioritizing, and resolving data issues that impact reporting, forecasting, and operational decisions.
- Develop and implement internal data policies, documentation, and training materials to standardize practices across teams.
- Collaborate with individuals across the CRO org, as well as Marketing, inclusive of Executive leadership, advising on appropriate actions or insights relative to business objectives.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that offer real-time visibility into data performance and governance metrics.
- Manage cross-functional data initiatives, including data migration and system integration projects.
- Proactively recommend and execute improvements to data processes, tools, and workflows.
- Represent the Data team in regular planning meetings and stakeholder discussions.
- Train and mentor on best practices for data hygiene, governance, and compliance.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert on data quality best practices.
- Maintain the stability of the internal ticketing queue, making autonomous decisions on routing, escalation, and resolution where necessary.
- Contribute to the overall consistency of cross-functional data usage, helping align data practices across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to support optimization efforts.
- Conduct research across internal and external databases to verify and enrich contact, account, and territory information within Salesforce.
- Perform hands-on execution of ongoing data clean-up activities, especially during large projects like system migrations or account restructuring.
- Support and contribute to team-wide projects and all-hands initiatives throughout the year, including ad hoc requests.
- Comfortably operate in a flexible, “multiple hats” environment, supporting a variety of data needs across Revenue Operations.
Required Education and Experience
- 1+ years of experience in Sales/Marketing Operations, Business Systems, or Data Governance roles.
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce and/or HubSpot, with a strong understanding of CRM data models and workflows.
- Proven ability to independently manage projects and make decisions that impact data strategy or business performance.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
