Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist will provide essential support to the Marketing Officer in executing various campaigns and initiatives, with a primary focus on social media management, event planning and community engagement. This role involves creative and logistical tasks aimed at growing Union Bank’s brand awareness, online presence and fostering community relationships. The ideal candidate is organized, creative and passionate about marketing. Essential Functions Social Media Management:
• Assist in creating, scheduling, and posting content on Union Bank’s social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and monitor platform activity to ensure strong customer engagement.
• Track social media metrics, prepare reports, and suggest improvements to optimize strategies.
• Ensure brand consistency across all social media posts. Event Planning and Participation:
• Support the planning and execution of internal and external events, including community outreach programs, promotional events, and bank-sponsored activities.
• Coordinate logistics, materials, and communication for events, ensuring Union Bank’s brand is well-represented.
• Serve as a brand ambassador at events, engaging with customers and community members.
• Assist in post-event reporting and analysis to measure success and suggest improvements. Marketing Campaign Support:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, such as flyers, digital ads, and email content.
• Distribute marketing collateral and ensure all Union Bank locations are fully stocked with materials.
• Assist in maintaining marketing archives and managing marketing inventory.
Administrative Support and Other Duties:
• Assist with administrative tasks, including meeting scheduling, tracking deadlines, and managing the marketing calendar.
• Provide day-to-day support to the Marketing Officer on various tasks, projects, and communications.
• Handle any other duties as assigned by the Marketing Officer to support the overall marketing efforts.

- Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Adhere and comply with all bank policies.
- Familiar with and abides by all bank regulations including but not limited to BSA and OFAC.
Working Conditions of the Job
- Stationed at desk 70% of time. Travels to branch locations and to bank-sponsored off-site events.
- May lift boxes and marketing materials up to 40 pounds.
- May require work more than 40 hours per week including after-hour Bank-sponsored events.
- No particular hazards on the job.
Job Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Passion for community involvement and building relationships.
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in social media, marketing, or event coordination preferred
