OCT Consulting is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that supports Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide expert leadership and guidance to a team of business analysts and automation engineers
●Lead the overall efforts to automate data processes by documenting business processes and translating them into technical requirements for technical counterparts and using provided tools for business process automation.
●Support a data-driven culture through, including but not limited to, data literacy training, tools, and other mechanisms
Qualifications and Skills
●Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related degree and subject with at least five (5) years of experience with analysis and definition of business processes and procedures for automation, and leadership of efforts to automate business processes to support enterprise priorities.
●Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency in automation software such as UI Path and other Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software.
●Demonstrated experience in working with multiple stakeholders to capture business needs in process flows and technical requirements to implement automated capabilities.
●Excellent communication and efficient workflow, with experience using platforms such as MS Teams + Planner and Outlook, Maestro (JIRA, Confluence), GIT, Collibra, Mobius, etc.
●Recent experience in developing automation to support data analytics/reporting requirements for a large data focussed office, preferably in DHS components like USCIS, TSA, FEMA, or CBP
●Demonstrated experience in reviewing and evaluating emerging technology to make recommendations for the adoption in client space
●Demonstrated experience in preparing and delivering written and oral briefings to multiple stakeholders including senior govt. executives.
