Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located at customer's site. No relocation is offered.

AT&T is hiring to support a US Government Program that provides IT Services to US Strategic Command located in Omaha Nebraska.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Policy and Compliance: Developing and enforcing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Mentorship: Providing training and mentorship to junior cybersecurity staff and other IT professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with other IT and cybersecurity teams to integrate security measures into broader IT initiatives and projects.
  • Research and Development: Staying current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the organization’s security posture.

TS/SCI (#tssci)

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical Leadership: Providing expert guidance and technical leadership in the design, deployment, and management of cybersecurity solutions and infrastructures.
  • System Design and Implementation: Overseeing the architecture and implementation of advanced cybersecurity systems and tools, ensuring they meet organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Incident Response: Leading and coordinating incident response efforts for significant cybersecurity incidents, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
  • Threat Analysis and Mitigation: Analyzing complex threats and vulnerabilities to develop and implement effective mitigation strategies and defenses.
  • Senior-Level Experience: Extensive experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on designing and managing complex security infrastructures and leading incident response efforts.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIAC Security Expert (GSE), or other advanced cybersecurity certifications.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, threat intelligence, and defensive and offensive security techniques.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and project management skills to effectively lead cybersecurity initiatives and teams.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM, and endpoint protection.
  • Advanced Threat Detection: Expertise in advanced threat detection and response techniques, including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and malware analysis.
  • Network and System Security: Proficiency in securing network architectures and operating systems (both Windows and Unix/Linux environments).
  • Scripting and Automation: Skills in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate cybersecurity tasks and processes.
  • Senior-Level Experience: Extensive experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on designing and managing complex security infrastructures and leading incident response efforts.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIAC Security Expert (GSE), or other advanced cybersecurity certifications.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, threat intelligence, and defensive and offensive security techniques.
