Position Summary:  New Reach Education is seeking a results-driven Head of M&A Education & Business strategy to mentor aspiring business buyers—entrepreneurial, opportunity-driven individuals eager to learn how to find, negotiate, acquire, and profitably run a business. In this role, you’ll combine deep M&A transactional expertise with hands-on coaching to guide members through deal analysis, underwriting, acquisitions, and portfolio growth. You’ll help them identify, evaluate, and execute profitable opportunities while sharing your knowledge in underwriting, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic deal structuring. Key Responsibilities

• M&A and Underwriting Instruction – Teach members how to evaluate, structure, and execute profitable business acquisitions, including leveraged buyouts, rollups, and other complex deal types.
• Deal Structuring Education – Provide frameworks for modeling and optimizing acquisition transactions to maximize returns and minimize risk.
• Business Underwriting Training – Lead students through comprehensive financial analysis, risk assessment, and value-driver identification.
• Live Coaching & Mentorship – Deliver high-impact in-person training, group workshops, and virtual sessions (including Zoom calls) to guide members through real-world deals, negotiation tactics, and post-acquisition growth planning.
• M&A Strategy Advisory – Share proven strategies from private equity, investment banking, and corporate acquisition experience to help learners confidently buy and sell companies or business units.
• Community Engagement & Leadership – Foster an active learning environment, building trust and authority by sharing insights, tools, and real deal experiences.
• Market & Trend Guidance – Keep members ahead of industry shifts, financing innovations, and acquisition best practices.
  Deal Review & Feedback – Evaluate member-submitted deals, offering constructive feedback, alternative strategies, and optimization recommendations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in mergers & acquisitions and underwriting, with a proven track record of structuring, negotiating, and closing profitable deals.
• A minimum of 5+ Private Equity or Investment Banking experience preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in evaluating businesses, assessing risk, and optimizing deal structures for long-term profitability.
• Strong knowledge of financing options, including seller financing, debt, equity, SBA loans, and creative funding structures.
• Skilled communicator with exceptional public speaking, presentation, and teaching abilities.
