The Role
Our Warehouse Technicians ship and receive hazardous chemicals according to ISO 9001:2015 and OSHA 18001 standards and follow all D.O.T. and CFR 49 requirements.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Receives materials delivered to facility; ships all materials as required and with strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Verifies quantities and quality of materials received and shipped; confirms shipments and receipts into system
- Communicates any damages found on materials received
- Stores material in warehouse properly; notifies appropriate parties of receipt of material; distributes or puts away material as required
- Secures warehouse
- Keeps warehouse and adjacent areas clean and organized
- Trains regularly on all federal, state, and local environmental regulations, requirements and guidelines including, but not limited to, DOT requirements and RCRA requirements; follows and adheres to all guidelines, regulations, and requirements
- Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates commitment to and support of EHS&S principles and values; champions safety
- Performs cycle counts and physical counts of raw materials, components and finished goods
- Performs other duties assigned that fall within the generally expected scope of this position
- Drives forklift or other vehicles required to transport, move, or arrange warehoused materials
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of a High School diploma, or equivalent, is required
- Experience in warehousing operations preferred but not required
- At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift is required
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must possess valid state driver’s license
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to read, interpret and follow written job instructions and directions; ability to read and understand safety procedures; understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations/standards
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow through on assignments
- Excellent English communications skills, oral and written; ability to successfully handle business interactions across all levels and functions in the business
- Must be able to work varying or rotating skills, as needed, to support the business
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
