Our site features space to innovate, leisure areas as well as state-of-the-art laboratory facilities for robotics development.</p><p>Currently we are looking for a skilled <strong>DevOps Engineer</strong>, who will support the Team by leading DevOps activities in the wide range of robotics projects.</p><p><strong>Your main responsibilities</strong> will focus on supporting <strong>Software Development Life Cycle</strong>, including setting up <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> and supporting release and deployment processes.</p><p>You will also work closely with <strong>Robotics Software Engineers</strong> in our Team as well as with DevOps and Software Development Teams of our Partners.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Mandatory skills/technologies:</strong></p><ul><li>Extensive experience in the context of <strong>CI/CD technology</strong>, e.g. one out of: <strong>Jenkins, GithubActions, CircleCI, Bamboo, GitLab etc</strong>.</li><li>Extensive experience in <strong>implementing build pipelines 'As Code'</strong> for one of the aforementioned technology stacks</li><li>Good <strong>understanding of software testing</strong>, e.g. from unit to system integration tests</li><li>Deep knowledge about <strong>container technology</strong>, such as Docker</li><li>Good knowledge about <strong>UNIX/Linux</strong>, e.g. tools, configuration, package management</li><li>Proficiency in implementation of <strong>bash scripts</strong> supporting data processing and development workflow.</li><li><strong>English</strong> at the level of working proficiency</li><li>Experience in contributing to <strong>projects involving C/C++ </strong></li></ul><p><strong>Desired skills/technologies:</strong></p><ul><li>Prior work experience with <strong>cloud solutions</strong>, e.g. Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform</li><li>Prior work experience with <strong>artifact managers, </strong>e.g. Artifactory</li><li>Basic knowledge of <strong>networking protocols </strong></li><li>Awareness of <strong>IT security and managing sensitive data</strong></li><li>Experience in working with <strong>Agile methodologies</strong>, e.g. Scrum</li></ul><p><strong>As an additional plus will be:</strong></p><ul><li>Basic experience or understanding of <strong>robotics</strong> and tools used in developing robotics systems, e.g. ROS/ROS 2 (including DDS communication layer)</li><li>Experience in contributing to <strong>product development</strong>, e.g. embedded software projects</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Bosch’s culture of innovation and digital transformation offers you a fantastic platform to grow your skills and enhance your network.
