The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring product quality.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure quality and functionality.</li> <li>Design, document, and execute test cases for product releases.</li> <li>Develop and execute test plans and cases in Jira.</li> <li>Collaborate with development and product teams to align on requirements and testing.</li> <li>Track defects and ensure thorough documentation of test results.</li> <li>Conduct regression testing to ensure stability of the application.</li> <li>Independently determine and design testing approaches that support comprehensive testing of difficult solutions; mentor and cross-train others on testing.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>5+ years of manual testing experience. </li> <li>Solid knowledge of test case design, execution, and defect management.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li> <li>Knowledge of SQL, JSON, XML and SOAP/API testing with Postman as well as Java.</li> <li>Experience with functional testing of multi-tier Web applications.</li> <li>Experience working with issues tracking tools, test cases design and execution. Preferably JIRA.</li> <li>Solid understanding of large-scale systems testing.</li> <li>Experience working with Agile methodologies and familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium).</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in background check industry.</li> </ul> <h2>What do we offer</h2> <p>*All resumes are held in confidence.
