The Job:  

As Director of Engineering - Digital, you’ll be part of our Corporate IT team working as a remote employee.  We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering to lead our digital team. As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for managing a team of frontend and backend developers, overseeing solution architecture and integrations, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining a robust CI/CD pipeline. Additionally, you will be responsible for performance monitoring and implementing improvements to enhance our digital platforms.

You’ll get to:  

• Lead and manage a team of frontend and backend developers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee the architecture and integrations of our digital platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and develop innovative solutions.
• Implement and maintain a robust CI/CD pipeline to enable efficient and reliable software delivery from internal and external development teams
• Monitor the performance of our digital platforms and identify areas for improvement, implementing necessary optimizations.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Possess a deep understanding of headless experience platforms (DXP), Next.js, Vercel Platform, Acquia Site Studio, Acquia Site Factory, and Drupal CMS.
• Experience with, eCommerce Platforms, Akamai CDN, Salsify PIM and Bynder DAM.

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in managing and leading engineering teams in the digital space
• Possesses an architectural mindset and strong stakeholder management skills.
• Focuses on day-to-day operations and has the ability to monitor and optimize performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Exhibits confidence, professionalism, and leadership acumen with excellent communication and presentation skills in an international environment.
• Proficient in Agile Software Development processes.
