Customer Order Processor & Transportmanagement

In Heerenveen (approx. 230 employees), we develop and produce water-based polymer products and formulation additives. With a multidisciplinary team (Marketing, Technical Service, Application & Syntheses Lab, Engineering and Production), we work on market demands of the Packaging and Coatings industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you contribute proactively to the development and maintenance of customer satisfaction and logistical efficiency throughout the order to cash process, handling the processing and coordination of customer orders such as the validation of sales orders and allocation of inventory.

 

• You will manage different areas such as transport order bookings, checking invoices and handling customer complaints related to order and transport management.
• You will focus and coordinate on execution in speed, flexibility, and reliability in cooperation with various international BASF functions and external logistical service providers.
• You will work in accordance with legal & BASF guidelines and procedures regarding health, safety & environment, energy, and sustainable development of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant MBO 4 level
• Good communication skills, also in English, German would be beneficial
• Knowledge of SAP and/or Order/transport management tools (ERP systems)
• Affinity with digital skillset building
• Relevant work experience in supply chain / logistics
• You are a team player and have a customer oriented attitude
