In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will:

  • New Technology Implementation: Own the development and execution of assembly & product testing automation strategies to optimize manufacturing processes. Support the Scope of Work (SOW) development while collaborating with product design, quality, operations, and supply chain team to ensure integration of automation solutions that meet safety, quality, and production objectives.
  • Value Justification for Capital Purchases: Conduct feasibility studies, cost benefit analysis, and Return on Investment (ROI) calculations on new capital equipment. Recommend and lead cost-justified projects.
  • Operational Perfection: Apply your in-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to streamline operations, minimize waste, and optimize efficiency across manufacturing processes.
  • Assessing Existing Equipment: Lead assessments of existing operations by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to fortify processes and mitigate risk through the implementation of industrial solutions.
  • Vendor Interactions: Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors to source equipment, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials. Maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Project Management: Lead and implement simultaneous projects related to manufacturing process improvements, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Operations Support: Provide support to various functions within operations as needed, fostering a multi-functional and collaborative environment. Work collectively across multiple manufacturing sites to develop / implement global guidelines and define standard processes.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED: 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field such as industrial technology.
  • Relevant years of proven experience in a manufacturing environment commensurate with the level of the position.
  • In-depth knowledge of control systems (PLC/PAC), and/or automated assembly equipment.
  • Strong analytical abilities to collect, analyze, and interpret data for informed decision-making and process improvement.
  • Validated project management skills with the ability to complete projects effectively.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Individual must be willing and able to travel as needed up to 25%; a valid passport is required. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship name and in the future. We will 
  • not be providing sponsorship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART: 

  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of automation technologies, robotics, 
  • Experienced in devising industrial solutions to sophisticated manufacturing challenges.
