Currently, we are seeking a self-driven Medical Records Supervisor to join our team in the San Francisco Area. As we approach our 20-year anniversary of providing high-quality care to our patients, we are looking for someone who shares our passion for improving healthcare outcomes and patient experience.
As an essential member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment with our clinical and office staff in San Francisco and Walnut Creek. This is an IMMEDIATE job opening for our San Francisco office, the ideal candidate is a dynamic, high-energy, team player ready to join our team and hit the ground running Candidates will be required to work on-site. We are looking for someone that is willing to demonstrate exemplary performance in their ability to prioritize, multitask, organize, and learn quickly.
We are looking for a detail oriented individual, with an extremely pleasant demeanor who posses excellent communication skills! As a Medical Records Supervisor, you will be responsible for the managing and maintaining accurate electronic records.

What You'll Do:
- Record Management: Organize, update, and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Orders Management: Responsible for distribution and timely collection of signed physician orders (via DocuSign, fax, Forcura, courier, etc.).
- Data Entry: Accurately input patient information into the agency's electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Compliance: Ensure all records comply with state, federal, and agency regulations. Coordinates collection of any missing information or documentation.
- Confidentiality: Ensures patient confidentiality is met by adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Protected health information (PHI) rules and regulations
- Audit Preparation: Assist with preparing records for audits and reviews.
- Coordination: Collaborates with healthcare providers, patients, and administrative staff to facilitate the flow of information including but not limited to the coordination of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and working with Case Managers regarding resumptions of care post hospitalization discharge.
- Communication: Handle difficult and/or sensitive matters with careful judgment and tact on a consistent basis escalating to leadership as appropriate
- Administrative Duties: Performs tasks such as but not limited to; phone coverage, print/scan/faxing of documents, preparing mail/shipments, distributing documents and courier coordination
- Management: Oversees and supervises their team members
