IT Manager, Infrastructure and Cloud Services

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Manager of Infrastructure and Cloud Services to lead our IT infrastructure and cloud operations. This role is responsible for managing on-premise and cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and experience in hybrid cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). Responsible for managing a team of engineers and administrators to ensure high availability and performance of systems supporting business operations.

• Define and execute the overall cloud and infrastructure strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to optimize cost, performance, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies for cloud and on-premise systems.
• Lead the migration of infrastructure workloads to the cloud, where applicable.
• Manager virtualization infrastructure and storage architecture.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place and tested.
• Manage and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, cloud architects, and system administrators.
• Monitor systems performance, implement monitoring tools, and proactively resolve issues.
• Maintain security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA).
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to implement and monitor security best practices.
• Evaluate and implement tools and technologies that support the business's evolving needs.
• Vendor management and contract negotiations for cloud, hardware, and infrastructure services.
• Optimize cloud resource usage and on-premise investments to ensure cost-efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, and server technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and deliver results on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
