Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The AA III Insurance Coordinator is responsible for facilitating authorizations and related testing for pediatric and adult stem cell transplant, Immune Effector Cell and Gene therapy recipients. The AA III Insurance Coordinator works closely with the Transplant Nurse Coordinators, Financial Counselors and Transplant Administration, in order to assure that all services are approved prior to treatment.

Salary Range: $29.42-$42.14/hourly

Required:

  • Excellent critical thinking and prioritization skills
Preferred:
  • Previous experience submitting referrals and obtaining insurance authorizations for hematology-oncology patients  
  • Previous experience working w EMR, Epic or CareConnect
