Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in a consulting or advisory role focused on enterprise-scale platform implementations
  • Experience with estimating, implementation planning, functional application expertise, and project management
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written – and the interpersonal skills needed to quickly establish relationships of trust and collaboration
  • Ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level, financially literate client executives on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism
  • Proven thought leadership as indicated by speaking engagements and/or publications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of different scale and duration
  • Ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions
  • Huron requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

We seek a Senior Manager / Director level leader experienced in workforce enablement and innovation in a consulting services business to join our Huron Digital team. Deeply versed in digital transformation across industries and strategic workforce initiatives, this leader is primarily responsible for Accelerating Innovation in support of our next generation of global workers dedicated to serving our clients’ needs.

Serving as a pillar lead on our Digital Workforce Enablement team (DWE), this leader will drive strategy and execution for Accelerating Innovation, a global initiative which supports our business growth plans. The DWE team is responsible for a range of global programs including Digital new hire induction, workforce readiness, upskilling and certification support. This team is a cornerstone within the larger Enabling Capabilities organization.

The scope includes partnering with our Knowledge Management pillar leader to ensure our people have best-in-class knowledge sharing practices to accelerate innovation internally and externally and working closely with our professional development teams to enable continuous learning and on the job growth. This position is full-time, virtual (based in North America) with minimal travel, and reports to the Senior Director of Digital Workforce Enablement.

Responsibilities

Digital Workforce Enablement (DWE) strategic pillars

· In addition to pillar-lead responsibilities for Innovation, support integrated DWE initiatives as assigned, ensuring alignment with Professional Development and Knowledge Management pillars.

· Leverage understanding of business and balanced focus on global workforce needs, go-to-market strategy, and stakeholder needs to drive workforce enablement initiatives across global organization.

· Partner with leadership to define key metrics for assigned initiatives, contribute to an integrated DWE dashboard, KPIs, and manage assigned programs to meet targets for impact and effectiveness. KPIs will be specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) to be effective.

Accelerating Innovation Pillar Lead Responsibilities

· Drive the approach, development and execution of a multi-pronged strategy to Accelerate Innovation across Huron Digital. This includes establishing both a framework for scoping and managing innovation initiatives, as well as the appropriate governance activities (steering committees, operating teams, budget and investment plans, communication plans, training plans, showcasing events, etc.) to drive SMART objectives and KPIs.

· In addition to tracking with larger business and DWE program goals and KPIs, this role will be responsible for creating and driving pillar-specific innovation metrics.

· As champion for Accelerating Innovation, partner with leaders across each of Huron’s Digital Capability and Industry areas to ensure vision, framework alignment, and shared commitment to accelerating innovation as part of growth plans.
