Role
As an APP at Steadfast Health, you’ll practice at the top of your license in a supportive, evidence-based addiction medicine model. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and peers to deliver coordinated, compassionate care. With streamlined workflows and dedicated MA support, you can spend more of your day doing what matters most: caring for your patients without distraction. - Location: Nashville, TN
- Schedule: Full-time, W2 position with standard hours of Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CT
- Target Start Date: November 2025
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage SUDs and associated comorbidities, embodying the Steadfast patient-first ethos.
- Collaborate with all clinic-level team members to formulate and execute patient care plans, including Medical Assistants, Peer Recovery Specialists, and Therapists.
- Provide expert compassion and patient-centered advocacy through the application of Motivational Interviewing principles.
- Practice up-to-date, life-saving, cutting-edge SUD therapies with close guidance, oversight and mentorship from specialty-trained addiction experts.
- Pioneer novel ways of improving access and overall care for disadvantaged, marginalized populations.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care by creating a warm and welcoming environment, fostering trust and strong relationships with patients and communities.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive attitude in adapting to diverse patient needs and situations.
- Continuously seek out new knowledge and stay informed on new medical advancements, maintaining a lifelong learning mindset to deliver the best care possible.
- Provide occasional cross-coverage for inpatient consult APPs as needed, ensuring seamless patient care and team support.

Qualifications
- NP (FNP, AGNP, PMHNP preferred) or PA-C (Internal, Family, Emergency Medicine experience preferred), licensed in the state of Tennessee.
- Comprehensive medical and/or psychiatric evaluation and management experience in substance use disorder treatment, preferably in an outpatient setting.
- Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities.
- Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible, can-do mentality, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
