What you will do –
- Coordinate resources in area based on repair schedule and standards, troubleshoot schedule changes throughout shift equipment, quality and process issues
- Create and execute the repair schedule based on first-in-first-out (FIFO), priority, and customer needs
- Train in responsible area and ensure team members are properly trained/certified in all facets of their job, including but not limited to: 6S, MDI, SLMS, Safety, Quality, Preventative maintenance
- Execute shift hand-off and communication with peers and leaders
- Support onboarding of temporary employees and new hires
- Drive a culture of safety, positivity, and collaboration within the team by providing them with objective daily feedback
- Maintain and coach others on the Managing for Daily Improvements (MDI) Tier 1 boards and reporting
- Fill in for the Service Team Lead as needed to include MDI board and meetings
- Work closely with the Service Team Lead to provide feedback on team members in responsible area
- Execute Leader Standard Work (LSW) procedures and audit requirements
- Conduct 6S and Safety Audits, and distribute action items at the Tier 1 level
- Ensure team is using material replenishment systems properly and escalate through appropriate channels as needed
- Identify and support continuous improvement projects within area including safety, quality and productivity
What you need –
- High School diploma or equivalent – required
- 5+ years of experience – required; Higher Education (Associates or Bachelors Degree) may be considered for experience
- 3+ years of experience in leadership role within field – preferred
- Experience with leading a project – a plus
- Experience in a regulatory or compliance environment – preferred
- Familiarity with 6S is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, as needed to support the business needs, including weekend and evening call as needed – required
