Brown & Brown is seeking a Client Account Renewal Marketing Commercial Lines for our team in Doral, Florida.
To work closely with Account Managers, Marketing & CL Team leaders on marketing renewal and existing new business accounts to achieve agency sales goals and service standards. This position is responsible for securing the retention of specifically assigned commercial accounts through marketing responsibilities as well as assisting Account Managers with renewal marketing workload.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop a full working knowledge of Commercial Lines procedures
- Review and analyze policies, endorsements, forms, and rates for accuracy, recommending changes or amendments on assigned renewals.
- Assisting with submission preparation, including input of ACORD applications in AMS and completion of supplementary applications and SOV’s using information provided by the producers.
- Disbursement of submission to markets.
- Maintain and update all rating software, which include the keeping of all codes, passwords, and program setup information.
- Assist with the underwriting, rating, and uploading of accounts via online rating platforms
- Review suspense on a regularly scheduled basis, re-suspending or handling items as appropriate
- Maintain account files, overseeing that documents are placed into appropriate sections when not documented via automated database
- Assist in clearing omitted items, account differences, and commission differences
- Coordinate premium financing
- Keep AM’s & producers informed of real or potential problems during marketing process
- Correspond with markets and clients, accompanying producers on visits as requested
- Responsible for the marketing of assigned accounts, obtaining and evaluating quotations, and determining and recommending markets
- Maintain knowledge of carrier underwriting criteria, deviations, plans, and marketing policy
- Maintain knowledge of approved rates by the respective carriers, and be able to explain the rating of any policy
- Negotiate with company underwriters
- Prepare complete and accurate submissions
- Prepare and/or modify quotations when required
- Maintain a suspense file for proper follow up of outstanding quotation requests
- Prepare policy orders to the successful carrier, binding and invoicing as appropriate
- Check carrier issued policies for accuracy. Inform carrier and AM of forthcoming corrections
- Utilize agency automation with a high level of knowledge and proficiency
- Pursue a program of personal and professional development
- Other duties may be assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Required
- High School degree
- 440 or 220 License
- At least four years of insurance experience
- Completion and/or evidence of skills as outlined by Commercial management
Preferred - CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred
