SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI with both Polygraphs is requiredPOSITION: Sr. Systems EngineerLCAT: System Engineer, Level 3REQUISITION: NIN-SE3-16.022425LOCATION: Linthicum, Maryland JOB DESCRIPTION:Develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.
Required Qualifications:• Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)• Ability to define, implement and maintain processes and procedures to meet project objectives.• Experienced with analyzing and identifying opportunities for process improvements.• Experienced with developing initiatives for continuous process improvements.• Ability to work with the customer and developers in the integration of applications.• Ability to use best practices to carry-out system engineering, reengineering, process measurements and change management activities.• Experience working with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes, and risks.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Experience applying system engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects.• Familiar with performing activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance management.• Experienced with executing as key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.• Ability to document and track requirements and assist in driving them to completion
LCAT QUALIFICATIONS: CERTIFICATION: n/a EDUCATION: • Bachelors Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline is required.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required • BS + 20 years, or • No Degree + 25 years
