Location: Kokomo, Indiana (After training and successful performance, this position may transition to working part of the week remotely.)

Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Core Data Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Core Data Specialist will play a crucial role in optimizing data processes and enhancing the efficiency of various departments by providing accurate and timely data insights. The position will report directly to the COO. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Optimization: Work closely with Bookkeeping, Data Processing,/Proof, Loan Department, Digital Banking and Retail Banking to understand their data needs and optimize data processes to enhance efficiency.
• Data Analysis: Provide detailed data analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes across departments.
• Collaboration: Partner with department heads to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement data-driven solutions.
• Data Quality: Ensure core data integrity and accuracy by implementing and monitoring data quality standards and procedures.
• Support: Assist departments in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data management processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field is preferred.  
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data management or analysis, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
