Job Description

As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Site Patrols in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with inquiries related to access procedures and site navigation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any security-related concerns.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of access control activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
