What you'll do:

We’re seeking a Sr. QA Manager to lead and evolve the quality engineering function at NinjaTrader. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for embedding quality across the SDLC—not just through validation but by driving a preventative, testability-first culture from the very beginning of product planning.

You’ll manage a team of QA engineers, integrate quality processes into our CI/CD pipelines, and leverage AI-powered automation tools to scale QA. A critical part of this role is building test strategies that go beyond basic checks to ensure that what we release reflects the full customer experience.

Experience in regulated industries, especially financial services, is highly desirable.

In this role you will:

• Lead, coach, and scale a QA team supporting multiple agile product squads
• Define and drive a comprehensive QA strategy grounded in user experience, covering:
  • Functional testing
  • Regression testing
  • Load/performance testing
  • Exploratory testing
• Champion a shift-left testing mindset, ensuring QA input is part of early design and planning
• Integrate and scale AI-based test automation, including n8n and other generative AI tools for intelligent testing and automation
• Own and optimize QA’s role in CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-confidence, low-friction releases
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to prioritize testability in design and implementation
• Measure and continuously improve key QA metrics: test coverage, defect escape rate, release quality, etc
• Promote quality as a core engineering value, not a separate gatekeeping function
• Uphold engineering quality and execution standards, including code reviews, test coverage, release pipelines, observability, and incident response

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in software QA, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role
