Senior Sourcing Recruiter

Basic Qualifications

Responsibilities for this Position

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Senior Sourcing Recruiter.  The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation’s fundamental defense services.  General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. 

  

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS: 

• Understanding ongoing hiring needs of their business and establishing the right sourcing mix in order to generate a strong pool of talent for open roles 

• Facilitation and ownership of sourcing strategy with colleagues and hiring teams 

• Drafting & publishing attractive job advertisement and managing responses 

• Reaching out to target talent via social networks 

• Designing & conducting engaging talent outreach campaigns 

• Speaking with applicants about requirements to drive applications & engagement 

• Doing the first-round screening for applicants & ensure a strong candidate experience 

 KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

• Expert-level Boolean, X-ray, and keyword searching experience (e.g., 8 plus years) 

• Understanding of and experience in using AI technology in all elements of sourcing activity 

• Direct experience with government contracting industry 

• Thorough knowledge of and experience in identifying highly cleared candidate pools; TS, TS/SCI, TS/SCI w/Polygraph 

• You have prior experience within talent acquisition in a sourcing role 

• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills 

• You have worked in a CRM tool to build pipelines 

 PREFERRED DEGREE TYPES AND EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor’s degree is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. 

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $116,149.00 - USD $125,676.00 /Yr.
