About The Role

Mochi Health is seeking a Lead Barista to create an exceptional daily experience at our San Francisco HQ. You will serve as the face of the office, crafting espresso drinks, keeping our space running smoothly, and ensuring our team feels supported throughout the day. Beyond coffee, you will help shape our office culture by making our workspace not just efficient but also energizing, collaborative, and enjoyable.

This is a full-time, onsite role with core hours of 8:30am – 7:00pm, Monday through Friday, with full benefits.

What You’ll Do

• Make high-quality espresso drinks on demand (experience with La Marzocco machines is a plus)
• Oversee and restock office kitchens, fridges, and snack areas each day
• Greet visitors, receive packages and mail, and manage front-of-house hospitality
• Take ownership of office operations including vendor coordination, supply management, and ensuring spaces remain clean, organized, and welcoming
• Support facilities needs such as light cleaning, small repairs, and coordinating with external vendors when necessary
• Partner with the People team to organize office events, team-building activities, and cultural initiatives that bring employees together
• Act as a culture ambassador who helps create an environment that reflects Mochi Health’s values and inspires employees each day

Who You Are

• 3-5+ years of professional barista experience in a café, coffee program, or hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of espresso preparation and customer service
• Professional, detail-oriented, and highly organized with excellent communication skills
• Comfortable with physically active tasks such as restocking, lifting supplies, or cleaning
• Excited to work onsite five days a week with paid time off
• Proactive and resourceful, able to identify what needs to be done and take initiative
• Bonus: prior office management, facilities, or hospitality operations experience
• Bonus: experience supporting company culture or employee experience programs
