Group Finance Director
DaVita, a healthcare corporation and recognized leader in dialysis services, invites you to bring your financial expertise and passion for healthcare to our Polaris operating group in the role of Group Finance Director
- You will oversee the financial performance of operations across Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah, contributing to total annual revenue of over $1B.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Act as the financial visionary for the Polaris, interpreting data, designing processes, and driving accountability in alignment with action plans.
- Executive Communication: Effectively communicate complex financial insights to internal and external stakeholders, including the development and persuasive delivery of presentations.
- Team Development: Recruit, develop, and retain high performing financial managers and analysts, fostering an environment of professional growth and excellence.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Manage the Polaris P&L results, taking ownership of financial outcomes and key performance metric goals. Drive the annual budgeting and forecast process for multi-year volume growth, communicating financial results to DaVita’s senior executive leadership.
- Capital Investment: Chair the internal Polaris capital committee, guiding decisions on multimillion-dollar investments in new clinics and expansion projects.
- Operations Analytics: Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to drive improvements in key performance metrics across the operating group.
- Growth Strategy & Management: Work with the Director of Strategy to spearhead strategic analyses aimed at driving growth and profitability across the operating group.
- Project Management: Handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years post-graduate experience in corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A), investment banking, private equity, corporate development (M&A) or strategy consulting
- Demonstrable knowledge of financial statements, their relationships, and the underlying business operations they represent
- Proven experience with quantitative modeling and analytical methods, such as financial forecasting, valuation analyses, operations analytics
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA strongly preferred
- Superior judgment, decision-making skills, and communication skills
- Healthcare industry experience and/or multi-site operations experience is a plus
- Familiarity with financial planning, accounting, management, or other database systems such as Anaplan, Hyperion Essbase, Smartsheet, or SQL is an advantage
