Senior Software Engineer - Global Security Products - EMEA, Remote

We are recruiting across Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia for this position.

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-events or offsites. Your hiring manager can share more about this role’s hybrid or remote time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

Remote: This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

GoDaddy’s Global Security Products group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our backend development team. Our backend team is responsible for multiple products, integrations, and various APIs. We are rebuilding all of our products and migrating to AWS. If you have curiosity about getting hands-on with the latest cloud technologies and enabling a next generation platform, this will be an outstanding opportunity.

• RESTful APIs
• Python Flask / Django, PHP Slim / Symphony
• Java, Go, Lua
• Docker, Git, Jira
• AWS – CloudFormation, Sceptre, Beanstalk, ECS, EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, Elasticsearch, Kibana

Your experience should include...

• 5+ years previous professional software development experience
• Previous backend RESTful API development experience
• Strong experience in a programming language in Go, Python, PHP, Java and etc
• Experience integrating broad variety of technologies via API consumption/production
• Deep knowledge and a passion for coding standards and following validated design patterns
• Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms
• Experience with Agile, working in sprints and participating in the agile ceremonies
• Experience with AWS
• Experience building CI/CD and server/deployment automation solutions
