Duties:
Provide support for applications deployed to OCC’s non production AWS environments as well as third-party applications. Identify root causes and automate solutions in support of development. Guide the implementation using CI/CD pipelines in Kubernetes environment. Understand Cloud Native applications running on Kubernetes within AWS, utilizing knowledge of software development methodologies and Agile practices. Assist production support and development staff in debugging environment defects. Support the lower environments for incident and problem management. Resolve complex support issues in non-production environments. Install and configure Terraform to build the infrastructure which uses Terraform configuration files, as well as develop Terraform code to automate the build of the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instance for development and testing. Install and configure Jenkins to handle multiple Java builds and plugins to automate continuous builds and publish Docker images, write Jenkins pipeline in Python to automate the build, test, and deployment processes, build Jenkins jobs to create AWS infrastructure from GitHub repositories containing Terraform code, and develop bootstrap script to copy code from AWS S3 buckets. Build and support a portfolio of reusable AWS cloud components, services, and interfaces as well as configure Jfrog Artifactory as a robust artifact repository manager to ensure reliable and efficient artifact storage and distribution. Create procedural and troubleshooting documentation related to cloud native applications. Develop Terraform code to automate the build of EC2 instance for DEV
and TEST. Provide guidance to systems engineering, Dev/Ops professionals for building highly performant environment. Up to 40% telecommuting permitted. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, computer engineering or related and five (5) years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, software developer or related. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience, will accept a Master’s degree plus three (3) years of experience in the same fields.
Special Skills Required:
