IMEG Corp. is growing, and we’d love to have you join our team! Our Denver office, is seeking a Business Developer - Rocky Mountain Region in our Denver, CO office. As a Business Developer – Rocky Mountain Region, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining industry relationships and to identify project leads and opportunities. The Business Developer shall assist Client Executives, Project Executives, Market Leaders, and Market Directors in completing market research, facilitating introductions, developing, and maintaining relationships, and identifying and tracking project leads and opportunities.
Business Development has the responsibility to develop and maintain industry relationships
and identify project leads and opportunities. This role will assist Client Executives, Project
Executives, Market Leaders, and Market Directors in completing market research, facilitating
introductions, developing, and maintaining relationships, and identifying and tracking project
leads and opportunities. This position will be expected to work within the team’s monetary
budget as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals.
Principal Responsibilities
• Understands and remains knowledgeable regarding the firm’s expertise and experience
to aid in business development
• Assists firm leaders with growth strategies including annual business plans
• Researches and identifies market trends, project leads, client prospects, and
competitors to aid in business development
• Conducts project lead generation activities and participates in evaluating new
opportunities
• Maintains up-to-date data in CRM software (Salesforce) for leads, opportunities, and
client information.
• Conducts outreach to targeted owners and architectural and industry partners to create
long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships
• Contacts potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set-up meetings
• Works with firm leaders to identify and form successful team strategies and partnerships
on project pursuits
• Researches and identifies public relations opportunities and attends industry meetings,
events, and conferences to build firm brand awareness
• Assists in qualification submittal and presentation strategies for leads, opportunities,
interviews, and general client meetings
• Works with Marketing and firm leaders on public relations opportunities including
developing content such as presentations, submittals, and qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities
• Creative, self-motivated, and innovative with a passion for networking and relationship
building
• Knowledge of business and management principles and methods for promoting and
selling services
• Strong people skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
• Experience in market research and data analysis, A/E/C industry preferred.
• Strong computer research and data collection skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive, collaborative attitude, with the ability to work well with supervisor, co-workers,
principals, consultants, and other industry contacts
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and CRM
software (Salesforce)
• Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field
• 5 years of experience minimum, 7 preferred, in the engineering, architectural or
construction industry
