About the role

Koniag Integration Solutions, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Project Lead to support KINS and our government customer. This position is in office at Hill Air Force Base. This position requires the candidate to be able to maintain a SECRET Level Clearance.

The Project Lead will plan and direct project activities, interface with clients and provide Management oversight to the Hill Library Project.

• Work collaboratively with company and Government personnel to meet all requirements of the Performance Work Statement.
• Provide direction, peer review, and guidance to project staff.
• Understand and enforce the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Interview and train new employees, conduct performance management and guide employee relations.
• Assign, monitor and manage work to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Contribute on a multifunctional project team responsible for development of the Project Plans and Implementation Strategies.
• Review and delegate timecards, leave requests, expense reports and travel requests.
• Track supply inventory and manage Purchase Request and delivery process.
• Collaborate with the Security Team (Company and Government) to meet all security requirements for the project including building access, system access, clearance investigations, visit requests.
• Present oral and written reports, briefings, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Base Manager, General Manager and Management Team to develop and implement start-up plans. Report resource needs including staffing, equipment, and supplies to Management Team.
• Provide leadership and direction in negotiation, building consensus and achieving compromise.
• Report on project status with Base Manager or Program Lead on meeting or not meeting contract expectations.
• Authorized access to classified information; active security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
• Accredited bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 plus years of progressively responsible experience in Integrated Logistics Support for the USAF.
• Experience with DoD in a Military, civilian, or contract position supporting DoD programs.

Required Skills and Competencies:
• Experience with DoD in a Military, civilian, or contract position supporting DoD programs and managing employees.
• Working knowledge of military industry and standards for product delivery.
• Working knowledge of all technical data and other guidance documents which govern the preparation of all types of Air Force Technical Orders, to include technical manual contract requirements (TMCR)/Performance Work Statements and digital requirements documents.
• Understanding of complex program concepts and applications including project scheduling, resource allocations and budgeting.
• Excellent technical writing, briefing, and facilitation skills.
• Self-starter with strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrated skill in negotiation, building consensus and achieving compromise.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a complex project to plan.
• Demonstrated Technical Leadership Skills.
• Strong leadership and Project Management skills.
• Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Dependable attendance.

Desired Skills and Competencies:
• TO experience as end user or developer.
• Experience managing employees represented by a Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Security Requirement:
Candidates must be a US Citizen with the ability to be approved for an active Secret Level Clearance.

Office Location and Travel
This position is an in-office position located at Hill AFB.
Travel will not be required.
